Jonas Brothers

Would you want the Jonas Brothers to perform at your Birthday?

20.05.2008 09:06:48 Alan Baltes, the publisher of Disney Channel Stardom blog and various Acting & Auditions websites, wants to pitch his Jonas Brothers - Miley Cyrus birthday bash idea to Disney Channel and Hollywood Records. The version of his concept would have fans send in a homemade video performing a skit telling why they should win a birthday bash with either Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers.

(live-PR.com) - Mr. Baltes has reason to believe that the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus would be more than willing to participate. Today the Jonas Brothers, one of the hottest pop bands of the year, have just completed a surprise appearance and 20-minute concert at San Diego's Adobe Bluffs Elementary School in Rancho Penasquitos.

Around 700 delirious students shrieked as Kevin, Joe and

Nick played on an outdoor stage. The clean-cut boys ripped through four of their songs, ending with one of their biggest hits, "S.O.S."

The school won a contest sponsored by Baby Bottle Pop. The appearance apparently was a closely kept secret, as fewer than 100 fans gathered in a park adjacent to the school for a free listen.

In Mr. Baltes' idea, two lucky fans could win a private birthday bash for friends and family at Walt Disney World in Orlando, with either the Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus performing at the party. The fans would send in a video performing a skit and/or singing a song from the Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus. The finalists videos would be voted on by fans, either online, telephone, or text message. All or a portion of the Birthday Bash would air on Disney Channel. The event would take place after the upcoming Jonas Brothers Burning Up Tour, and after filming of the Hannah Montana Movie wraps.

Mr. Baltes is accepting suggestions from fans and hopes to present the idea to Disney execs within the next few months. He is hoping that with enough fan support and publicity, Disney Channel Execs, Jonas Brothers, or Billy Ray Cyrus will contact him first!
