(live-PR.com) - Six explosions hit the cities of Lucknow, Faizabad and Varansi. the explosions occurred within five minutes of each other near the courthouses.In criminal courts of Faizabad at least two bombs went off killing four lawyers and injuring other 10. that one of the bombs was tied to a motorcycle.Powrful bomb in Faizabad blasts is reportedly the worst-affected as compared to
the Lucknow and Varanasi blasts killing five and injuring more than fifteen persons.
In Varansi the the three blast in the collectrorate killed more than eight and wounded fourteen lawyers were injured. Meanwhile, authorities in Varanasi claim that investigations into the blast have been handed over to a Special Task Force.The explosion in Lucknow was a “minor” one, but made two victims.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati expressed shock and sympathy to the victims of the blasts, announced Rs 2 lakh as compensation to the kin of dead and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
Mayawati said the state STF is on high alert andexpressed that the Central Intelligence Agencies did not warn of any possible blasts and is result of their failure.
