22.08.2008 08:28:39 MobilityWare, a leading developer of applications for mobile devices, has released a new application, Free Video Poker. Free Video Poker, is an ad-supported version of Video Poker, giving iPhone/iPod Touch users a free way to play video poker.

(live-PR.com) - Irvine, CA, USA. MobilityWare, a leader in iPhone apps, has released a new application, Free Video Poker.
Free Video Poker is a new version of MobilityWare’s existing Video Poker application. Up until now, MobilityWare has concentrated on paid iPhone apps, such as Solitaire, the leading paid solitaire application on the AppStore. As the name implies,
Free Video Poker is a free, ad-supported, version of that game.

“While there are many people that don’t want to be bothered by ads, there is another group of people that would prefer to see ads rather than having to pay for the application,” said Dave Yonamine, Director of Marketing, MobilityWare. “MobilityWare does not want to prescribe that one version is to be preferred by everyone; we want to give people the ability to choose the version with which they are most comfortable.”

MobilityWare is continuing to develop new iPhone applications. “MobilityWare’s policy is to announce new apps after they are released into the AppStore,” Yonamine said, “Since releases are under control of Apple, it makes it difficult to anticipate when they will be released.”

“As always, we will continue to enhance our current iPhone applications with updates that enhance the user experience. There are currently updates to other MobilityWare applications that are pending approval from Apple,” Yonamine added.
