This was the conclusion reached by dentists who tested the impression material made by Kettenbach GmbH & Co. They examined criteria such as handling, flow properties, and accurate reproduction of detail - and gave it an overall rating
of 4.2 on a 5-point scale. Some 70 percent of the testers said they would definitely or probably use Identium themselves in the future. The number of those who would recommend it to colleagues was just as high.

One dentist commented on patient acceptance, "In contrast to other impression materials, none of the patients complained about the taste or consistency."
At the end of the test, 70% of the testers were so convinced that they said they would recommend Identium to their colleagues; 70% said they would definitely or probably use it in the future. One dentist with fifteen years of experience summarized his evaluation as follows, "An excellent product. I have used a different product for several years, but I love this material." Another added, "I am very impressed by this product and enjoy using it."
